Jaron Jones' evolution is not one you hear of often, pro athlete turned fashion designer. His brand Wild Thing$ was born in 2016 after a bad knee injury caused him to turn away from professional sports. Jones' inspiration for the name of his brand comes from his favorite book, “Where the Wild Things are." His collection echoes the fearlessness and bravery we felt as a child, a time and place where we were most loved. He believes that the love you receive from yourself will translate into what you put out into the world.

When asked about what motivates him, his immediate answer was his family, his extended family, and the community around him. He wants to be able to utilize his experiences and "take it back to them and not just the kids, the adults too."

"People in the community are inspirations to me... I only hope we can stand together and win together. I want to help people to understand that they're all great.”
